Earlier in the year we blogged about the new PMP programme we had established for our year 0 and year 1 students at Eastern Hutt. PMP is a movement programme to stimulate body and mind. The children love it and eagerly pull off their socks and shoes and tumble into the school twice a week to do the equipment sessions. We've honed our skills, learnt new techniques and ways to move our bodies, extended our vocabulary with positional and anatomical words, learnt to work together as a team, problem-solve, apply what we learn outside of PMP in the classroom and out in the playground.
